Texas Home Security Script

INT. FRONT DOOR, HOUSE                                                                                      DAY

The DAUGHTER walks up to the front door, turns to look back and speaks to her FATHER who is standing behind her watching her leave for her night out.

DAUGHTER

“Well I’m off now so don’t wait up for me.”

FATHER

“Have a good time, but don’t stay out too long.”

DAUGHTER

 “I won’t, don’t worry.”

FATHER

“That’s my Girl.”

MATCH CUT TO

INT. BED, HOUSE                                                                                                                           NIGHT

 The FATHER is sleeping in his bed snoring loudly with his mouth a gape.

CUT TO

INT. FRONT DOOR, HOUSE                                                                                                         NIGHT

Many hours have passed an only now the DAUGHTER has come back home, she opens the front door, sounding the alarm system as she stumbles her way in drunkenly. She wobbles her way over to the security system box on the wall which is close to the front door. She pulls out her phone and turns on the torch function and blinds herself for a second. She then begins to fumble at the buttons, being so drunk that she is unable to correctly type in the code and successfully turn off the alarm system. Suddenly the light switch is flipped and the FATHER is standing in the hallway with a fully automatic rifle.

FATHER

“INTRUDER!”

The FATHER then holds down the trigger of the rifle and begins to spray his DAUGHTER with lead. Her body jolt and contorts around as she stands there, blood spewing from every pore in her body, the FATHER just continues firing without stopping, as if his finger is taped to the trigger.
